Buzz And Flit Enjoy Nectar

A little bee named Buzz loves to fly around and look at all the pretty flowers. But there is one thing he likes more than anything else: finding nectar.

On Monday, Buzz exclaims, "I like nectar because it tastes sweet." His mother reminded him,”Nectar is good for energy, but pollen gives you protein to grow healthy and strong!”

On Tuesday, Buzz meets a new friend, a butterfly named Flit. Flit tells Buzz, "I like to sip nectar from flowers too!" Buzz and Flit fly together and share stories about the flowers they like the most.

On Wednesday, Buzz and Flit visit a big, bright sunflower. Buzz says, "I like this flower because it's big and yellow." Flit nods and says, "I like it too, because it has so much nectar." Buzz tells Flit, “My mom told me pollen from sunflowers keeps us extra healthy!”

On Thursday, they see a group of children playing in the garden. Buzz whispers, "I like watching the children laugh and play. It makes me happy." Flit agrees, "Yes, I like it too. It warms my heart." The two friends relax and enjoy the flowers and the children playing nearby.

On Friday, a soft breeze blows Buzz and Flit to rest on a leaf. "I like having you as my friend," says Buzz. Flit smiles and replies, "I like being your friend too, Buzz. We had a fun week together."

And as the stars twinkle in the night sky, Buzz and Flit think about all the things they like in their beautiful garden. Flit asks Buzz, “What can we do this weekend?” Buzz replies, “Let’s find new flowers and gardens to visit!”
